: Car was on pump gas (94 octane): : First baseline pull at 1.4kg (20psi) no tuning. : : Car ran super rich. : I raised the boost to 1.5kg (21 psi) car still run rich. My A/F above 5k rpm was below the scale 10:1. EGTs never exceeded 850 C. We started playing with the AFC. We saw significant hp gain everytime we lean out the fuel. After a couple pulls, I was able to get the A/F to stay at 12.5 across the rpm. The AFC is so wonderful :) : : EGTs were never exceed 900C. They were at 890C all the time. : Here's just a comparison of the HKS 2350 vs the stock turbo I dynoed last year. : : I am satisfied with the car on pump gas. Poured a couple gallons of 110 octane inside and start tuning for race gas. I raised the boost to 1.85kg (26 psi) and reset the AFC to run richer. Car pulled very smooth until 5k rpm, then it started misfiring a little bit. : : Damn! The HKS twin power apperantly is not up to the task. I have my plug gap at 0.040. It was perfectly fine at 21 psi but not 26 psi. : We pulled another run at 25psi and same thing happened. The engine misfired. It stumbled once it hit 25psi. I decided to call it quit since There's nothing I can do about it. I will have to re-gap the plug to 0.035 and dynoed tune-it next time, and plan to run 27psi. Base on the misfired 26 psi pull, I hope to get more than 550rwhp. : Now this is totally unrelated, with the race gas setting, can I take this? : : Keep in mind, the engine is bone stock. no nitrous, not even cam :)
